We believe architecture has a relationship with a piece of land, an environment, a city, a culture, a history, a client and an economy. Our philosophy is to listen attentively to such and take nothing for granted. We do not begin projects with preconceived ideas about what the project should be, but rather let the environment and our clients' needs guide the process of architectural design.

Excellence in architecture is achieved by the economy of ideas

At FAI, all aspects of design come from investigations into the site, studies of structure, spatial relationships and arrangement of elements as they exist in their historical and cultural contexts. FAI springboards all of its projects from over twenty years of formal analysis throughout the borderlands.

Our current staff consists of twelve members, with three registered Architects in the State of Texas and New York. In 1999 FA Inc. became a certified minority-owned HUB (Historically Underutilized Business) and is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council with a LEED AP specialization in Building Design and Construction.

Work exhibited nationally and internationally

FAI members' work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including exhibitions in Texas, New York, Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C., the Venice Biennale, and the Veronafiere International Marble exhibit in Italy.
